In the centre of the oval topped silver ring is an oval cabochon moonstone with an estimated weight of 5.14ct.
The cabochon is set in a polished 9ct yellow gold rubover setting which in turn is set into the centre of the silver ring that has been heavily textured and black rhodium plated.
The black rhodium plating continues around and down each side of the broad shank the rear middle section of which is polished silver.
One side of the shank curves underneath the top of the ring.
The ring is hallmarked by the London Assay Office for silver and 9ct gold, 2026 and bears the sponsor's mark ‘A&SP’ for Alan & Sue Poultney.
The word 'Scarab' and the Jewels by Scarab winged beetle logo are laser-engraved into the inner shank.
