In the centre of the planished 18ct yellow gold ring is a rectangular emerald cut green tourmaline with an estimated weight of 6.16ct.
The tourmaline is set horizontally across the top of the ring in a polished 18ct yellow gold four corner claw mount.
The ring is hallmarked by the London Assay Office for 18ct gold, & bears the sponsor's mark ‘A&SP’ for Alan & Sue Poultney.
The word 'Scarab' and the Jewels by Scarab winged beetle logo have been laser-engraved into the polished inner shank.
The tourmaline has been cut by Alan Poultney from rough material that he selected and sourced.
